"Flash Fiction" Attempts
- Perpetually radioactive: a town long deserted.
- Free money: not earned, not wanted.
- Found: Top secret government security protocols.
- Swimmer on surface, disappearance, then redness.
- Crash! Four walls collapse, floors follow.
- Zero percent, screen turns off, frustration.
The second one I especially like in that it can be applied to so many different topics, like corruption or illegal trades.
ReplyDeleteYour sentences seem very dark and depressing, especially the final one, I enjoy thinking about the rest of the iceberg for each one.
ReplyDeleteThe story of the swimmer actually made me gasp. I like how you alluded to blood and death, but very subtly so the reader can make the connection.
